11:11 “does philosophy.” Since November 2021, we have come to know doing philosophy as maintaining ignorance while questioning everything. Our goal is to evolve our thinking, so that we can make more educated decisions when we’re not in philosophical discussion.
Perhaps we cannot know objective value beyond our own knowing? We must acknowledge that we only know what we know; there is always better understanding. Perhaps some great contentment or universal good exists, but we are philosophers because we question the seemingly unquestionable - and we must continue to question everything!
If we must be zealots about anything, let us preach our ignorance.
