Mission

Amplify social impact business benefiting New Orleans and beyond.

What is it?

• A monthly Zoom and online group for early-stage founders and investors
• Monthly email recording of local social impact economy achievements and investments.
• Impromptu with renowned change-makers. (Walt Isaacson, Sal Kahn, ..)
• A party celebrating our work and, fingers crossed, $11M+ invested in local social impact work.

When is it?

The monthly Zoom and email is scheduled for the first Friday of every month at 11:11 AM CST. Zoom calls last 60 minutes. Participants are also invited to the 11:11 group chat on Signal.

Our big party will be on November 11 during Philosophers Fest.

Who participates?

• Founders: Early-stage social impact business owners with roots in New Orleans. Founder businesses must have social impact KPIs with local significance and a global scope. Founders are encouraged to attend monthly meetups and online discussions to get their work amplified.
• Investors: Organizations and individuals who invest at least $100,000 in 11:11 Founder’s social impact businesses by 11/11/24. Investors are invited to join our meetups and online community.
• Heroes: Our mentors are our heroes. They join meetings and, time permitting, team up with founders to help us reach our greatest potential.
• Support Crew: Professionals trained to support founders in their mission of building a better universe. Founders and investors pool cash to hire support as needed.

What happens?

• Every Zoom focuses on addressing a founder problem that we decided on in a previous meeting and discussed on Signal.
• Emails focus on resources and founder achievements (investments, revenue, impact). COSS Community is an inspiration.
• As we get closer to November 11, Zooms will focus on how the party can amplify our work to build lasting change in New Orleans and beyond.
